Rabintex Industries Ltd encompasses three design and manufacturing facilities in Israel including: the Personal Protection Plant, Reflections and Philcar. In addition, Rabintex’ Mobility & Modification subsidiary, Burtek Inc. is based in the US.
Burtek Inc.
Burtek Incorporated was established in 1987 by Bruce J. Burton as a consulting and engineering services contracting firm in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. During this formative time, Burtek became a world-class military and commercial truck modifier and equipment up-fitter. 
Burtek utilized its engineering prowess to produce several tow tractors, cargo bodies, troop carriers, crane trucks, and integrated van bodies. Concurrent with its growing competency in the truck field, Burtek also provided engineering services such as Finite Element Analysis (stress, static, dynamic, thermal, etc.,) Air Transportability Analysis, and HVAC design & implementation.
In 1993, Burtek’s steady growth necessitated relocation to a 12,600 sq ft facility in Warren, Michigan. In 1996, Burtek expanded further by purchasing the 9,700 sq ft building next door. In 2000, Burtek moved into its current location in Chesterfield, Michigan with an impressive 205,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.
Personal Protection
The 6,000 m2 Personal Protection plant is located in Beit Shean, Israel and employs 120 workers. The plant’s major product lines include Ballistic Helmets, Bulletproof Vests, Plates and additional Ballistic Solutions, 90% of which are produced for international markets.
Based mainly on composite layers of aramid and ceramic materials, the design and manufacture of protective vests and helmets comply with NATO’s and the US Army's most stringent requirements.

Reflections
Reflections, Rabintex’ protective glass manufacturer located in Ashdod, Israel, produces impact resistant and ballistic transparencies for both civil and military use.
Founded in 1971, Reflections rapidly became a leader in glass processing for the local market. Today, the facility specializes in the production of high-end transparent ballistic resistant solutions for the global market, boasting a vast array of products of the highest caliber.
As the primary contractor to leading military car manufactures around the world, Reflections has channeled its focus into developing the most advanced technologies aimed at saving lives. The company’s solutions have evolved from its customers needs, as well as from operational experience in combat zones.
Philcar
Established in the 1980’s, Philcar situated is in Petach Tikva, Israel.Philcar is an engineering company specializing in designing and developing armored vehicle solutions. Philcar also performs modifications of special task vehicles such as trucks, SUVs, SWAT Vehicles, Cash Carriers and Limousines.
With more than 20 years of experience, Philcar has been designing and developing armor systems that meet the highest standards of the Israeli Defense Force (I.D.F.), Israeli police forces and Israeli Foreign Ministry. The company has worked with prominent brands such as Toyota, Mercedes, Unimog, BMW, Nissan, Volvo, Range Rover, International Truck and Hummer.
